BRFSS Prevalence Data
This interactive website provides BRFSS prevalence data by state, year, and health category among adults. Data can be grouped according to gender, age, race, income, or education. Health categories include fruit and vegetable consumption, meeting physical activity recommendations, and rates of overweight/obesity.
SMART BRFSS Prevalence Data
This interactive website provides the same BRFSS prevalence data as the site above; however, this site provides information by Metropolitan/Micropolitan Area (MMA). The two MMAs in Arizona include the Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale statistical area and the Tuscon statistical area.
YRBSS Prevalence Data
This interactive website provides YRBSS prevalence data by state, year, and health topic among adolescents in grades 9-12. Data can be grouped according to sex, grade, and race. Health topics include fruit and vegetable consumption, meeting physical activity recommendations, tv watching, and rates of overweight.
SLAITS Data
This is the State and Local Area Integrated Telephone Survey (SLAITS) home page, where there are links to data from various SLAITS survey modules, including the National Survey of Children’s Health. Data includes rates of overweight for children ages 10-17.
PedNSS Data and Reports
This is the Pediatric and Pregnancy Nutrition Surveillance System (PedNSS and PNSS) home page, where links to the yearly PedNSS Summary Reports can be found. Data includes state-specific rates for various health topics, including overweight, in low-income children ages 2-5. Data on some tribal areas is also included.
